This was the hammock just outside the house we stayed in. Here was the field next to the house where we would take walks each day with the dogs. This is the general store in Port Clyde the small village where we stayed.

There is a railroad siding at the end of block. I like to go down there and see the rail cars. The art of the graffiti on the well used cars is a interesting juxtaposition.
Zion circa the 1970's. I asked my wife to marry me during this trip to Zion. It is a very special place in a number of ways. As you can image it has a special place in our memories. We will have been married 30 years this September.
I am firm believer in photography by wandering around. No real plan except to take pictures. Leave yourself open to seeing what is around you, it could be Yellowstone National Park or rail cars in my own neighborhood. Being in the moment. Seeing what is around you.
